Mini Muse was born from a quiet belief: that care should be gentle, intentional, and rooted in science as much as love.
I’m Sonam Agarwal, a BSc Cosmetic Science graduate from London College of Fashion, and a mother to a spirited, creative, makeuploving daughter who is 9 years old today. My education immersed me in formulation science, skin biology, and ingredient safety — but motherhood gave that knowledge its deepest purpose.
Watching my daughter explore colour, self expression, and play through makeup, I became acutely aware of a gap in the market. The products available for children were either toylike and unsafe, or diluted versions of adult cosmetics that ignored the sensitivity of young skin. I found myself asking a simple but urgent question:
Why should a child’s first experience with makeup not be as thoughtful, safe, and nurturing as their first skincare ritual?
Mini Muse began as a personal pursuit to create natural and organic colour cosmetics forkids — products that celebrate imagination without compromising on safety. Every
formulation is guided by science, restraint, and care: choosing gentle pigments,
skinrespecting ingredients, and avoiding anything unnecessary or harsh.
The name Mini Muse reflects both scale and intention. Mini for little hands, delicate skin, and early rituals. Muse for inspiration — because children are born creators, and colour is one of their first languages of self expression.
At Mini Muse, science is never separated from sensitivity. Each product is developed with rigorous research, ingredient integrity, and a deep respect for young, developing skin. No shortcuts. No harmful fillers. Just honest, thoughtfully organic formulations designed for play, creativity, and peace of mind.

At Mini Muse, we believe a child’s first experience with makeup should be a journey of joyful discovery—one that is as safe as it is imaginative and as gentle as it is vibrant. Our philosophy is built upon the fundamental desire to honour that innocence while providing a professional, science-backed alternative to the status quo.
Science as the foundation
Mini Muse is rooted deeply in the rigor of cosmetic science. We operate under a single, non-negotiable principle: hydration and skin comfort come first. In the world of adult cosmetics, performance often comes at the cost of breathability. At Mini Muse, we flip that script. We believe that moisturising is the essential foundation of every formulation. Healthy, nourished skin is the only suitable canvas for a child, and our products are engineered to act as "nutrition for your princess" that happens to feel like makeup.
While our products are designed to mimic the sophisticated textures, "payoff," and finish of adult makeup, they are reimagined entirely for young, developing skin. We do not simply "scale down" adult formulas. Instead, we study the sensory experience of premium cosmetics and recreate them using skin-conditioning bases. We use natural extracts—like the time-tested goodness of almond and castor oil—and process them with modern techniques to ensure they are both effective and safe.
Formulating with intentions
Our ingredient selection process is a balance of traditional wisdom and modern safety standards. We choose natural and organic ingredients whenever possible, ensuring every pigment is derived from skin-friendly sources.
