What is Mini Muse?
Mini Muse is an Indian brand making natural, organic colour cosmetics for children and teens. Founded by Sonam Agarwal — a cosmetic scientist and mother — Mini Muse was born from one simple question: why should a child's first experience with makeup involve harmful chemicals? Every Mini Muse product is formulated with young, developing skin as the priority, using organic oils, naturally-derived pigments, and plant-based ingredients. Mini Muse is made in India, dermatologist tested, and cruelty-free.
What is a Lip Dessert?
A Lip Dessert is Mini Muse's name for our signature lip oil product. The name captures exactly what it feels like: a treat for your lips that nourishes, glosses, and delights — like a dessert for your skin. Unlike conventional lip glosses that sit on top of the lips, our Lip Dessert is an oil-first formula that melts in and conditions from within. It smells like fruit, looks like a gloss, and works like skincare.
What products does Mini Muse currently make?
Mini Muse currently makes two Lip Dessert lip oils: Berry Pop and Peach Sorbet. Berry Pop is a lightly tinted lip oil with a playful berry glow. Peach Sorbet is an ultra-soft, naturally glossy lip oil with a warm peachy tint. Both are made with the same nourishing base of almond, jojoba, and castor oil, and both are safe from age 3 and above.
Who are Mini Muse products made for?
Mini Muse products are made for children, tweens, and teens aged 3 and above. They are especially loved by girls aged 7–16 who want to explore makeup in a safe, age-appropriate way. Many adult women — especially mums — also use our Lip Desserts as their everyday lip care. Our dual audience is the child who wants to feel special, and the parent who refuses to compromise on safety.
Is Mini Muse the same as regular lip gloss?
No. Regular lip gloss is primarily a cosmetic product — its job is to add shine and colour. Mini Muse Lip Dessert is a skincare-first product that happens to look beautiful. The base is made from nourishing oils (almond, jojoba, castor) that deeply condition the lips, while naturally-derived pigments provide a sheer, beautiful tint. Regular lip glosses often contain petroleum derivatives, synthetic fragrances, and artificial dyes — none of which are in Mini Muse.
Is Mini Muse lip oil the same as a lip balm?
They serve a similar purpose — hydration — but the texture and experience are very different. Lip balms are typically waxy and sit on top of the lips as a protective barrier. Lip oils are lighter, serum-like, and absorb into the lips to condition from within. Mini Muse Lip Dessert gives the glossy, high-shine finish of a lip gloss with the deep nourishment of a lip treatment — something a balm cannot do. It is also more exciting for children and teens because it looks like real makeup.
